What I do care about is that the career mode is one of the most poorly designed things I’ve seen in the literal hundreds of racing games I’ve played. I also have a pretty high tolerance for bad racing games, I liked Flatout 4, Ridge Racer Unbounded, and DiRT 5. I honestly don’t care that this is an arcade racer, there are plenty of other sims and there aren’t many arcade track racers left anymore. The driving mechanics are honestly solid, it feels like the natural evolution from the NFS Shift series, but singleplayer is god awful and multiplayer is dead.
I cannot wrap my head around why *anyone* thought this was a good idea. If you want to save up for the car you want to drive without wasting money on extra cars at lower tiers, you will also have to spend money to unlock higher tier events early.
